Grace May Barnes was born on 2 December 1915 in New South Wales, Australia. She was the daughter of George Thomas Brooks Barnes and Lucy Hannah Kelaher. Grace married Thomas Patrick Johnson in Newcastle, New South Wales, and they made their life together in New South Wales.
Grace passed away on 30 January 1984 in Sydney, New South Wales, at the age of 68. She was buried Rookwood Cemetery, New South Wales.
