    • John Freestone married Jane Polson on the 24th October 1887 at St. Mark's Church Laguna, the ceremony was conducted by Popham Luscombe, and the witnesses John A Wiseman and Catherine Polson. John and Jane lived on Portion No. 22 in the Parish of Y ango the Country of Northumberland, the land belonged to Jane's father Thomas Polson, the remains of the house can still be seen today. On the 14th July 1892 John applied for a grant of land by Conditional Sale an area of 112 acres, Portions No. 1 7 and 70 in the Parish of Halloran and the Country of Darling, and the land district of Tamworth.
