    • John Wilson Saunders married Vashti Duncombe on the 17th January 1893 in Tamworth, there were three children from the marriage Isa Mary, Ernest Winter and Jessie Winifred. On the 5th October 1904 Vashti Duncombe filed for a dissolution of the marr iage from John Wilson Saunders on the grounds of Adultery. Notes [13/12608] 5158 of 1904: During the month of February 1904 John Wilson Saunders committed adultery with Eliza Johnson at Newcastle and at Woods Reef between the months of February 19 04 and September 1904 and John Wilson Saunders cohabited continuously with Eliza Johnson and lived with her as her Husband. The marriage was dissolved by decree of the Supreme Court of NSW on the 12th January 1907. On the 30 December 1983 a Mrs C. Crosgrove sent a application for information concerning the divorce. ********************************************************************* No date has been forthcoming for the marriage of John Wilson SAUNDERS and Eliza May JOHNSON.
